Virat Kohli to miss IPL 2017 opening matches
Virat Kohli a star player and a captain of RCB is going to miss few of the IPL 2017 matches in the season. The opening matches of RCB will be without their captain RCB. The part-time captain will be annouced soon.
Virat Kohli faced issues with his shoulder when he tried to pull the ball at the boundry in Ranchi test. He did not play in 4th test at Dharamsala which India won easily. The main concern for the Royal Challengers Bangalore is that Virat Kohli opened in last IPL 2016 and he scored 973 runs with 4 hundreds. He has record of most runs scored in a season and in IPL as well. He was the orange cap holder and he gave his team place in IPL 2016 finals. The lost in the final against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Royal Challengers Bangalore will miss their captain and the opener as well but they have good backup with Watson, Gayle, KL Rahul and AB de Villers. They will give a good go in the opening matches. RCB looks good on paper and they might get a chance to appear in the IPL 2017 finals.
RCB to play SRH in the opening match on April 5 at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Hyderabad. Let’s hope Virat Kohli recover early in IPL 2017 and cricket lovers can see his batting soon.
